Aileen C. Luo

Hello! I’m Aileen. I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Stanford University, where I also pursue a PhD minor in Psychology. My research focuses on Kant’s theoretical philosophy, especially where it intersects with epistemology and the philosophy of psychology. I am equally drawn to the history and philosophy of psychology, as well as contemporary debates in cognitive science and artificial intelligence. Before turning to philosophy, I trained in law (LLB, LLM, and a practicing certificate in Hong Kong). Outside of academic work, I enjoy photography, film, rock music, and travel—but above all, I cherish time spent with friends, my partner and our cat, Galileo.
